Harrison Hollow
Cider Co.

From one hillside orchard to your glass. Here’s how it happens.

Begin the story
Chapter 1 · The orchard

It starts on a hillside in Agassiz.

Forty acres of heritage apple trees, planted by the same family in 1974 (in this made-up story). Twenty-two varieties, some you’ll never find in a grocery store.

  • 22apple varieties
  • 40acres
  • 0sprays after bloom
Chapter 2 · The harvest

Picked by hand, one tree at a time.

Every September and October, our crew picks when each variety is perfectly ripe. Windfalls go to the neighbour’s pigs; the best go in the crate.

Chapter 3 · The press

Pressed slowly, the old way.

We grind the apples and press them in a slow rack-and-cloth press. It takes longer, but the juice stays clear, sweet and full of flavour.

Chapter 4 · The cellar

Then we wait. Patiently.

The juice ferments cool and slow in our stone cellar for four to nine months. Some batches rest in old oak barrels for extra depth.

Chapter 5 · The taproom

Finally, it’s your turn.

Try a flight of four in our taproom overlooking the orchard. Kids, dogs and designated drivers welcome (we make sparkling apple juice too).
